You are watching: Vw passat cigarette lighter fuse location

Hey guys, helping my mom out here with she Passat. The 12v tobacco lighter just stopped functioning in her auto this morning. My instant thought to be a fuse. Confirm the owners manual which says its fuse 35 ~ above the passenger side of the car, opened up the fuse panel and also saw nothing in spot 35 . Searched under "cigarette lighter" and came up through a couple of threads saying it was a different fuse in a different spot. Confirm all fuses and also none were blown. Any other ideas what it might be?? thanks in breakthrough for the aid guys!!!

We were thinking that can be our following step, just wanted to inspect for a straightforward fix us may have actually looked past prior to taking it apart. I didn"t inspect the fuses with a check light, simply a intuitive inspection to see if the link in the center had broken. Have to i check with a test light together well?
