NEED HELP!!! i was looking to change my 2007 6.0L F-350 Diesel serpentine belt and also the chart is various than what is in reality installed. That is every factory and the diagram reflects that there need to be second iddler pully that is not installed on the truck. I check out the mounting holes but nothing was placed there from the factory. Ns really require a diagram for this if anyone has one. This photo is not the sticker photo on under the hood of my truck!!!! This shows 3 idler pulleys and also my sticker shows 4 under the hood. Any kind of help?

That is specifically the way my belt runs. I think you room just lacking the other idler sheave on your truck as I am no sure how you would be getting tension top top the belt if you are absent a pulley.. Over there is a little smooth pulley-block underneath the input manifold, a ribbed one above the power steering pump and two top top the belt tensioner.

Added Pic
Here is a pic that the chart under the hood of mine truck. The pully that is different is if looking at the chart the alt. Is the highest point. Directly below the alt room 2 idler puleys. The previous diagram shows just one and that is how my truck has actually it yet this factory diagram under the hood reflects 2. Any type of thoughts????

"Moby Dick" 2005 :ford: F350 2wd CC SB PSD. All stock. ScanGauge II v custom (homemade) mirror mount. Self mounted heated seats. $4.00 high idle mod. To plan upgrades: 4" turbo ago MBRP exhaust, coolant filter, ARP studs. Traction my 2007 Thor wave 25" travel trailer prefer it ain"t also there.
There is one more diagram for twin alt. I am thinking that there was an upgrade on the 07 engine adding a puley and also I acquired a 06 engine. I am confused.
I obtained the exact same thing on mine 07, belt routing doesn"t match any kind of of the drawings on the labels. The label on the passengerside valve sheathe lists the engine together a 2006, my van is a 2007 however was a an extremely early build, don"t have actually the date, yet took distribution Sept 9, 2006.Doug

In 2007 there to be a bunch of emissions needs that came through. That sounds prefer there were transforms made to the 2007 design that were no made on ours 2007"s because of the beforehand build. Have you carried this increase at her dealership? If therefore what walk they say? Thanks
Never noticed until I adjusted my Alt., in the fall. Forgot about it last time it was at dealer. Will need to remember to ask them following time I"m there.Doug

Here is a pic that the diagram under the hood of my truck. The pully that is different is if looking in ~ the diagram the alt. Is the highest possible point. Directly listed below the alt are 2 idler puleys. The previous chart shows only one and that is just how my truck has actually it but this factory diagram under the hood reflects 2. Any kind of thoughts????
The diagram on her truck is because that the twin alt setup. The dotted heat is the belt for the 2nd alt.. The an initial one you put up is precisely what my single alt mechanism looks like... If you have actually 4 customs of play, girlfriend may have the belt because that the double system ~ above a truck v the single... The or your tensioner has actually lost it"s tension..And i don"t think there is anymore emissions equipment on an 07 6.0 than there is on any other year. The emissions transforms came v the 6.4 (which came out in Jan. 07 as result of the emissions alters that went into impact then).

I am assuming you space talking about the an initial pic I put up. I fyou space talking around the second pick (the one actually under the hood) 보다 i agree. The dotted line is for the second alt set up. The hard line should be the means mine is set up but it is not. Mine belt adheres to the first pic ns posted and also not the one under the hood. I referred to as the dealership and also they called me it should enhance the chart under the hood (it go not). I think I require to simply take it to them and also tell lock to number it out. I thought there were some emissions demands for the 2007. As an instance the diesel pumps state 2007 newer should use the ultra short sulfer, hence reulting in some new emissions and also other changes to the 2007 6.0L?
jrb1126, i think mine follows the same route, I"ll have to take a closer look at tomorrow. Where did the an initial pic come from. I have same sticker as second pic under mine hood.Doug

The initial pic you placed up is the way a single alt mechanism is routed. For part unknown reason, Ford did not include that diagram on the sticker under the hood.... The ULSD ended up being a requirement in january "07 and also technically speaking, the an initial 6.4"s fight the street in beforehand "07 yet they were branded as "08"s. Ago then, there to be a the majority of confusion around the sticker ~ above the pump because it said "07 vehicles. But there space no pickups constructed with a 6.0 engine that was made after Dec. 06. Thus, the 6.0 as installed in "07 model year trucks does not have any type of extra emissions tools that previous years did not also have.
