You are watching: Flight time from atlanta to honolulu, hawaii
we fly from south florida and use ours portable dvd player through headphones to watch dvds. The town hall the movies of our choice makes the moment go by quickly. We also bring magazines to check out & snacks to munch on. And also of course we take a nap & that's entertaining!
I doubt you'll have any type of problem in first Class. Ns take a book, however they typically offer personal DVD football player or something like that. Ns don't know if this applies from Atlanta (it does indigenous NYC) however we constantly have international first-class planes come the west coast, domestics (not as nice) from over there to HI.
ARe you sure the flight is 13 hours? us flew Atlanta to Honolulu in March and also it was a tiny shy that 9 hours. At any kind of rate - take it a good book. I read an entire novel. My husband watched 3 movies and we both captured a couple of z's. That wasn't as poor as we had actually anticipated. Take the Revealed book and also reread on the flight!
Perhaps complement the above with a bunch that TA print-outs pertaining to your various destinations. (Don't forget a highlighter.)
On the method back, begin or continue, your trip report complete of good ideas because that those that us simply dreaming about or following visit
Hmmmmm. I dunno... I always have to sleep top top the method back east. Walking west doesn't stroked nerves me. Going east, though...

I am additionally wondering around the 13 hrs from Atlanta. Is this including stops/layovers?
We flew from Birmingham and it was best at 9 hours of actual trip time.
I agree w/pzp, simpler to go west. I've done the ATL trip a couple of times. In first class you should have actually a choice of number of movies, so i wouldn't bother with carrying a personal DVD player unless you room an entertainment seed -- just an additional thing to store up with. Don't sleep too much -- possibly catnap. Once you gain there, stay up til bedtime and you'll be up beforehand the next day!
As far as paris -- well, what can you do when you're confined to any tiny area for hrs on end? Read, watch TV, snooze, beat cards. Take it your own reading material -- it'll it is in slight ~ above the plane.
Also, check on the first class enjoy the meal service. Delta's obtained pretty skimpy also on first class (although hope to Hawaii they're a tiny better. I generally stop by the bookstore ~ above concourse B and also pick up a salad or something to bring on -- lock have an excellent food and also I recognize that ns will have something great on the plane. There's a place in concourse E and T with the exact same kind that food (salad, gourmet sandwiches, etc.)
