I just bought a "new come me" 2000 Wrangler through the 4.0 and also a 5 speed, yet no owner"s manual. I would like to change the oil soon and also I don"t know the amount of oil this engine takes and the argued type/grade/viscosity of the oil come use. I like to usage dino or a semi-syn oil in "pre loved" engines, but past that I"m open up to suggestions. Thanks.
Well the 4.0L offers a complete of 6 quarts. As for fluid type, examine the oil filler cap and also it should tell ya what weight.

On a enlarge motor? lol j/kNot every motor oil are developed equal. Commonly I will run shell Rotella-T Full fabricated in mine gas electric motors (as well together my Diesel motors) because of the great deturgents, Ash capabilites, etc. Not to cite it will resist much greater abuse v temps, extended oil alters of 3,000-4,000 mile (remember oil is based more off of intake rather 보다 miles) off roadway than typical gasoline oil.
